I had Rancho Cantina on my list of places to try for a long time. I had a free night and decided to go ahead and take the plunge. Also on the list was Los Agaveros, however, I looked and saw the Yelp rating (via Apple Maps) and opted for Rancho Cantina. I am so glad I followed Yelp's recommendation. I visited on a Monday evening and it wasn't too busy. They had wonderful mariachi playing and a big screen at the bar of the performance. I was told to sit wherever I wanted. I was given chips and salsa and a menu. The menu was huge. Lots of pages. So much to choose from, it looks like they serve it all. I went in expecting tex Mex but was pleasantly surprised. I got the Pechuga a la Plancha con Chorizo. It was down to either that or the Carne Asada. Since I always get carne adana I chose the Pechuga a la Plancha con Chorizo. I got Rice and beans, and corn tortillas. It came out very quickly. On a plate that was similar to fajitas. Sizzling and steamy. The smells coming off were amazing. The tortillas were home made and not store bought. The food was very good. The chicken was soft and cooked perfectly. The flavor was very good and I completely cleaned my plate. I will definitely return here. LaVergne is 2-0 on Mexican places now. Mexichina is very close by as well. I am well pleased.
